Welcome to Healing Current Trauma Therapy
Some of you may have been clients of my private group practice, Elemental Intuition. My career focus changed, and I decided to close the group practice.
When I started Elemental Intuition, I was a generalist therapist. As time went on, I realized I felt most passionate and effective in helping people heal from trauma. Talk and skill therapies only helped so much in trauma recovery.
Over the past three years, I committed myself to learning bottom-up trauma therapies. I focus on EMDR, IFS-Informed EMDR, and Brainspotting in my work and ongoing learning. I see how much these practices have aided my clients in trauma recovery. While complex trauma takes time to work through, I’ve had the privilege of seeing my clients find relief. I am certified in EMDR and am now a Consultant in Training to help other clinicians enhance their skills.
The realities of running a group practice made it challenging to further my passions. It became clear that I needed to focus on becoming a trauma specialist and consultant.

That’s why I created Healing Current. I greatly enjoy seeing you heal trauma. Assisting other trauma therapists grow is a passion too. Trauma responses don’t have to be ongoing struggles. Rather, trauma can be healed. I am honored to walk alongside each client as they access self-healing.
I chose the name Healing Current because of the flow state that I see in the work. In my training, reprocessing metaphors like being on a train or watching a TV show were popular.
I had a different metaphor come to mind. A visual I envision more clearly for these therapies is that of a water current. Sometimes the work includes rushing rapids or crashing waves. Eventually the water turns into stillness. There is a river I drive by frequently and see this process within a few miles. Water represents cleansing and change, even if it isn’t perfectly smooth or linear.
My hope is that Healing Current is a place of safety and post-traumatic resilience. Trauma work is deep and challenging, but we will go at a pace that feels safe and attuned. It is possible to find healing after trauma.
