EMDR Certification Consultation

Deepen your skills and confidence with support from EMDRIA Approved Consultant-in-Training™

A steadier way to move toward EMDR certification

Becoming certified is not just about logging hours. It is about developing trust in your clinical judgment, understanding how EMDR lives in real bodies and real systems, and learning how to respond when things do not go exactly according to protocol.

This offering meets certification requirements while honoring your nervous system, your lived experience, and the complexity of trauma work.

Consultation hours align with standards set by EMDRIA. As a CIT, I can provide 15 out of the 20 required consultation hours. 10 of those hours can be in a group setting. My consultant, Tawanna Marie Woolfolk, LCSW, can provide the remaining 5 individual hours, or you can find a consultant of your choice.

What you will find here...

Certification-aligned consultation

Hours count toward EMDR certification and are rooted in ethical, protocol-informed practice.

Case consultation with depth and nuance

Bring the cases that feel complex or tender. We work with target sequencing, floatbacks, blocked processing, complex trauma, grief, medical trauma, and chronic pain.

Integration not rigidity

We honor the EMDR standard protocol while also exploring pacing, consent, resourcing, interweaving, and adaptations that support safety and effectiveness.

Nervous system aware learning

You are allowed to ask questions, slow down, and think out loud. You do not need to already know all the answers to belong here.

Consultation format

Options:

What makes this space different

This is not a space where you prove your competence. It is a space where competence grows.

Certification is a milestone. You get to reach it in a way that feels aligned and sustainable.

Investment & next steps

Individual consultation sessions are $100 per hour. Group consultation rates are $ 50 per 90 minutes.
